Britain in Bloom!

Spring time is my favourite time of the year, out goes the winter blues, weather and cold and in arrives the glorious show of colour, warmth and new beginnings. And what better way to welcome the season than a visit to the Cotswold’s Spring Show at the Malvern Three Counties Show Ground. Surrounded by the beauty that is the Cotswold hills, the show has a sense of hustle and excitement, whether that be for the floral gardens, the foot long hot dogs or the Pimm’s and lemonade stands! (Definitely the latter for me!)

Consisting of gardens, displays, stalls and even Boycie from the classic ‘Only Fools and Horses’, the show does quite literally have something for everybody.

With floral demonstrations from Jonathan Mosely and Carol Kleen to name a few, whether you are an amateur gardener who just enjoys a potter every now and then, or a professional doing it for a living, the shows are magnificent to watch,

This years theme was very much vintage and traditional led. With stalls selling antique goods such as jewellery, paintings and clothes. Vintage cars could also be seen dangling strangely yet beautifully from the barn ceilings.
